Become a Town Meeting or Finance Committee Member
One of the best ways to get invoved is to become involved and cast your vote as a Town Meeting Member. Town Meeting consists of 12 representatives from each of Arlington's 21 precincts. There are currently open positions and a portion of each precinct's members are up for re-election each spring. If you are interested in running for Town Meeting, fill out an application with the Town Clerk's office in February.

The Town of Arlington Finance Committee is seeking to fill vacancies. Night meetings on Monday and Wednesday are necessary from February through early June. The prime responsibility of the Finance Committee is the review and analysis of the town budget as well as available revenues and the presentation of a balanced budget to the Town Meeting. Interested parties are encouraged to send a letter of interest and resume to Allan Tosti, 33 Teel Street, Arlington MA 02474. A background in government or finance is preferred but not required.
